Having Tea with Hiroshige
This was a second exploration into digital ukiyo-e, incorporating natural elements and redrawn pieces from traditional woodblock prints. To replicate the distinctive ukiyo-e ink lines, I developed a custom Photoshop brush, ensuring a hand-drawn quality to the digital work. The color palette remains subtle, blending soft gradients with muted tones to bridge traditional print aesthetics with digital execution. This piece continues my investigation into how historical Japanese art techniques can be reinterpreted within a modern digital framework.
