Our creative challenge was to reimagine the brand’s voice and aesthetic—making it warmer, more playful, and emotionally resonant. The goal was to move away from stereotypical or moralizing tones often associated with vegan content and instead lean into joy, curiosity, and accessibility.

We began by translating OopsVegan’s values into visual principles: approachable, vibrant, and non-judgmental. The creative direction was rooted in emotional accessibility—encouraging exploration without guilt or pressure.z

How we did it

At the heart of the new identity are over 30 illustrated food characters—designed as pet-like companions to transform plant-based eating into a lighthearted and personal experience. These mascots became emotional anchors across all touchpoints, embodying the idea that food can be both fun and friendly.

At the heart of the new identity are over 30 illustrated food characters—designed as pet-like companions to transform plant-based eating into a lighthearted and personal experience. These mascots became emotional anchors across all touchpoints, embodying the idea that food can be both fun and friendly.

Using a basic wordmark and an initial geometric motif as a starting point, we elevated the logo and developed a bold visual system that defined the brand’s graphic language.

Keeping the previous color palette core, we redefined its usage into a more expressive tone that conveyed energy and optimism.

The rebrand transformed how users engaged with the platform. OopsVegan’s message was no longer about restriction, it was about connection. The character-driven visual language resonated deeply with the audience, especially younger and beginner vegans.
